Who prescribed peptide therapy is for
Origin Wellness is built for high-functioning adults — executives, founders, athletes, parents — who want a medically supervised approach to energy, recovery, body composition and long-term health, rather than a product bought without oversight.
It is not a fit if your health situation needs in-person care. A physician makes the final call on whether a protocol is clinically appropriate for you, and some requests are declined.
Prescribed vs. not prescribed
The peptides sold online as "research use only" are not prescribed, not reviewed by a clinician, and not prepared under pharmacy regulation. Nothing about the dose, the purity, or whether the compound suits your history has been checked.
A prescribed protocol is different in four concrete ways: a licensed physician reviews your assessment and labs; the prescription is written for you specifically; it is compounded by a licensed 503(A) compounding pharmacy partner under federal and state regulation; and it is reassessed over time instead of left on autopilot.
Prescribed protocols vs. peptides bought online: side-by-side
| What matters | Origin Wellness (physician-prescribed) | "Research use only" peptides online |
|---|---|---|
| Medical review | A licensed physician reviews your assessment and labs before anything is prescribed, and declines requests that are not appropriate | None |
| Lab work | Diagnostic labs available as part of the process, with follow-up labs guiding dosing | Not part of the purchase |
| Prescription | Written for you specifically | Sold without a prescription |
| Preparation | Compounded by a licensed 503(A) compounding pharmacy partner under federal and state regulation | Not prepared under pharmacy regulation |
| Ongoing support | 1:1 coaching and monitoring — dosing questions, nutrition, training, sleep, adjustments | None |
| Reassessment | Protocols are reviewed and adjusted over time | Left to the buyer |
The path: assess → labs → pharmacy → coaching
Assess. Start with the free 90-second personalized health assessment. Your answers go to the medical team, along with your goals and history.
Labs. Diagnostic lab testing is available as part of the process, so dosing decisions rest on baseline data and follow-up labs rather than a questionnaire alone.
Pharmacy. If a physician decides a protocol is clinically appropriate, it is filled by a licensed 503(A) compounding pharmacy partner and shipped to your door.
Coaching. Ongoing coaching and 1:1 monitoring are what keep a protocol working — dosing questions, nutrition, training, sleep, and adjustments as your labs and goals change.
Where the protocols focus
Rather than treating diseases, the protocols are organized around areas people are working on. Metabolic health and body composition sit with the GLP-1 medications — semaglutide and tirzepatide — offered both as microdose protocols and as full weight-loss protocols. The GLP-1 guide covers that path in detail.
Recovery and tissue repair are where BPC-157 and TB-500 are discussed. Skin and healthy aging are where GHK-Cu sits. Cellular energy and mitochondrial function are where NAD+ and MOTS-c are discussed, and sermorelin is discussed in the growth-hormone-axis context. Glutathione is discussed for oxidative stress and liver support.
Each of these has its own educational page with what the research does and does not show. See every protocol we offer.
TRT and HRT: Coming Soon
Testosterone replacement therapy and hormone replacement therapy are upcoming at Origin Wellness. They are listed as Coming Soon, are not bookable today, and nothing on this page should be read as an offer for them. If your labs suggest a hormone issue, a physician will tell you what is appropriate — including referring you elsewhere.
What this page does not claim
This is educational content. Results are individual, and no outcome or timeline is guaranteed. Nothing here replaces an evaluation by your own clinician, and conditions that need in-person or specialist care should be handled that way.
Start with a medical review
Every protocol begins with the free health assessment and a physician review. Choose a starting point below, or take the assessment and let the medical team recommend one.
Frequently asked questions
What does physician-prescribed peptide therapy mean?
It means a licensed physician reviews your health assessment and lab work and decides whether a protocol is clinically appropriate before anything is prescribed. Your protocol is then filled by a licensed 503(A) compounding pharmacy partner and shipped to you, with follow-up and coaching while you are on it.
How is this different from buying peptides online?
Research-use peptides sold online are not prescribed, not reviewed by a clinician, and not compounded under pharmacy regulation. At Origin Wellness there is a medical review first, lab work to establish a baseline, a prescription, pharmacy fulfillment, and ongoing support. Some requests are declined when they are not appropriate.
Do I need labs?
Diagnostic lab testing is available as part of the process so that dosing decisions can be made on baseline data and follow-up labs rather than a questionnaire alone.
Is TRT or HRT available?
Not yet. Testosterone replacement and hormone replacement therapy are upcoming at Origin Wellness and are listed as Coming Soon. They are not bookable today.
Who is this not a fit for?
